I'm really disappointed in this catering company. Both my fiancé and I reached out multiple times in regards to catering our wedding reception. When we would call, he would answer. However, he kept explaining he would follow-up with us and he did not hold up his end of the bargain. He mentioned using the same menu as someone else's wedding reception (Taco Bar) but when I replied back via email that we were interested in having other meal options, he never responded. I am really disappointed because I was looking forward to working with him. Thankfully, my fiancé and I found someone else that is willing to cater our reception. I wish Chef Michael and his team the best, I just will not be using them nor will I recommend them.

I attended the Nutcracker Brunch at The Museum of the Southwest. The event was delightful however, the food was cold and not edible by the time we were served. Also, as the event was held mainly for children, the menu was a little bit "fussy" for a child's taste.

I recently attended a wedding on a ranch far out in the country. The quality of the service and food was better than if it had been in a beautiful venue in an urban area. The staff were always smiling and they loved their work. Chef Michael was present and equally happy, not stressed. The food was amazing! There were hors d'oeuvres prior to the meal. The staff walked around serving. Then the main meal was so good - grilled steak, shrimp and chicken with salad and several side dishes. The tables were so beautifully decorated with lights under a large tent. The little flashlights on the table for under the Texas sky in the country if needed was a nice touch. It was so elegant. It gave a West Texas wedding on a ranch a whole new level to measure up to. Having a venue so far out in the middle of the West Texas lands was amazing, but to handle such a large wedding so far in the country and everything was perfect, from the staff, to decorations, table settings, lighting, hot and delicious food with a variety for everyone. Chef Michael Olivas and his crew are true professionals with a love and joy for their work that shows.

Today at my office we had Exquisite cater lunch for us and it was AMAZING. I am not sure how they got that many ribeyes cooked so well or how they made the chicken as tender as it was or how they made the vegetables so delicious but me and all of my coworkers agreed, 1000/10

Chef Michael and Exquisite Catering is my go to for everything from very large events to small dinner parties! He delivers every single time! I’ve worked with him for over 10 years. The food is always delicious and the service can’t be beat! I’ll include a pic from the most recent small job, a beef Wellington for my sons birthday. It was beyond delicious! I have no idea how he was able to keep it rare with a crispy crust!
